4thLondon Kurdish Film Festival / October 8 - 2006 - Melbourne

4th London Kurdish Film Festival will be taking place from
December 8 to December 14 2006 in UK and the festival
committee is asking Kurdish and non-Kurdish directors to
send their films to the festival. As taking the pride of being
the first Kurdish Film Festival organized in the world, in
2001 London Kurdish Film Festival is the biggest and
oldest Kurdish Film Festival of its kinds.  

It is announced that the festival will show any films of
Kurdish directors and non-Kurdish directors’ films related
to Kurds in one way or another.

Mustafa Gundogdu, one of the organizers of the 4th
London Kurdish Film Festival, said “The festival will
accept feature and short films as well as documentaries.
The directors should send their films to the festival
committee before 20th of October 2006.” Gundogdu added that all the films should be subtitled in
English or Kurdish and should be DVD or VHS PAL video cassettes copies.

It is said that the festival committee will make a selection between the received films and
announce its final decision in near feature. Additionally this year London Kurdish Film Festival will
